Jaunt Journals, guidebooks for the curious voyager

We create beautiful, small-batch travel guidebooks that blend local voices, film photography, and hidden gems. Designed for people who care about craft, discovery, and staying inspired.

Our Story

We’re women-owned and proudly independent. Born from a love of travel, design, and storytelling, Jaunt Journals was founded to offer something different. Not cookie-cutter guides. Instead: journals you’ll want to display, revisit, and share.

Local Perspectives + Hidden Gems

We believe the best travel experiences come from those who live the place—not just visit. Each edition is curated with artists, entrepreneurs, and makers who reveal their favorite places to explore, eat and shop.

Meet our Illustrator

Our guidebooks come to life, with the help of Santa Barbara's Pedro De La Cruz. Cruz is the illustrator of Jaunt Journals and brings his colorful, fun and playful work to our journal pages.
Pedro De La Cruz creates vibrant, joyful art inspired by the magic he felt opening his first box of crayons as a child. Sketchbooks became his sanctuary, a place to process emotion and escape through color. Guided by supportive teachers and fueled by hard work and dedication, Pedro has grown into the expressive, detail-driven artist he is today.
